**CVMFS** (CERN Virtual Machine File System (CVMFS) is the FUSE filesystem that computecanada uses to distribute software. They also allow non-computecanada clusters to use their distributions, and that is exactly what we are doing. ===Installation=== (Already done on systems, if need to redo it): * https://cvmfs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/cpt-quickstart.html#getting-the-software * https://docs.alliancecan.ca/wiki/Accessing_CVMFS#CVMFS_requirements ===Which environment to use?=== On avx2 machines, use the settings appropriate for cluster cedar (export CC_CLUSTER=cedar), stdenv/2023, stdenv/2020 are available. On the avx machines, which are now retired from computecanada, we need to use their old (now deprecated) StdEnv/2016.4 environment. This module will not appear when you do module spider.
